At the completion of this certificate program students should be able to use modern word processor programs to prepare documents for use in an office environment. Students are also expected to acquire skills to allow them to use standard spreadsheet applications and gain a basic understanding of databases and their use within an office environment. In this regard, students should be able to utilize presentation software and display numeric and graphical data for presentation of combined information and acquire skills to navigate the internet safely for communication and research purposes. This course will allow you to proceed to a degree in Business or Information Technology.
