Master of Education (Curriculum & Assessment)

This course is aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of current educators and educational leaders. To this extent, experienced teachers will be able to polish their understanding of educational theories of learning and teaching. In addition, another aim of this course is to guide its students to create effective lessons and assessments based on a curriculum through a thorough understanding of curriculum development, assessment and evaluation. This can also be used by teachers to understand the new curriculum and how to use it to help their students better.

Entry Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field OR
Attainment of a level 5 qualification in a related field and 3 years of experience OR
Completion of the Mandhu College per-Master’s Programme

Alternative Criteria

25 years old, completion of related level 5 qualification and 7 years of relevant experience, (of which 3.5 years of experience is obtained after completion of a level 5 qualification), and completion of an MQA approved pre-Master’s programme OR

25 years old, completion of related level 6 qualification and 6 years of relevant experience, (of which 3 years of experience is obtained after completion of a level 6qualification), and completion of an MQA approved pre-Master’s programme.
